graston technique

Two images showing a physical therapy session. In the first, a woman is performing a hand therapy exercise with a patient's arm on an examination table. In the second, the same woman is assisting a patient with a shoulder stretch exercise in a room with a medical chart on the wall.

Graston Technique Therapy is an instrument-assisted manual therapy that helps decrease scar tissue, increases blood circulation, and reduces inflammation, leading to pain reduction and improved mobility.

It is a valuable option for individuals suffering from conditions like tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, neck/shoulder strain, back spasms, sciatic pain, arthritis in hands and knees, C-section scar reduction, and overall stiffness!

Gliding Cupping

At Nucleus, we take a different approach to traditional cupping therapy by practicing Gliding Cupping therapy.
We love pairing this with the Graston Technique and stretching because, after the muscle has been “scraped” and stretched, the cupping lifts the skin and optimizes tissue mobility throughout the area.

This can cause further petechiae (red/purple bruises commonly caused by Graston and cupping) which normally lasts from 1-6 days.

This does not target accupressure points .
